I came here instead of contacting AH.......
we are snowed in here on the East Coast and he kindly dropped off something I needed at the store yesterday. He looked like hell - I can tell he is drinking again- bloated a little- complaining - body hurts - back hurts - the usual negativity he does when he is drinking. I did not engage but I told him he looked like hell - today I feel like checking on him- like telling him I am worried about him- but I came here instead - he chooses to not work - he chooses to live with his 80 year old parents - he chooses to not take care of himself - he chooses to drink. God it makes me sad but his choices . I chose to live and to be happy and hopeful ~

good for you!!! i suspect that "maybe" because he did something "nice" that also got you all fired up. remember the crumbs, remember the intermittent chicken!!!!

I was able to get out today - the roads are still miserable but I did it! I am proud - I had to dig my car out some ! That intermittent chicken thing is real - what the heck and the crumbs.......Oh my - I have much much more work to do but am trying to stay proud of myself. I can do this............ Thanks so much for being so awesome - it means the world.....
