alcoholic girlfriend won't leave/threat to self
Tx, this is crazy, you having to leave your own house while she the abuser gets to stay. Sorry she bashed up your car, but at least it's proof of her state of mind. I hope this works out in your favour soon.
She committed a crime by smashing in your windows of your car.
Can you contact the police and see where the investigation is?
It's INSANE that the perpetrator of the violence was able to stay in your home.
Have you had any luck with the RO?

DA didn't think I had enough to justify an RO unless it happens again.
As far as the police their attitude has been this is he said she said, difficult to tell who the damaged property belongs to (except, you know, the title kinda handles that) and don't call us we'll call you.
I've been no contact since Monday. She keeps trying, but is acting like everything is totally normal
I have a meeting with an attorney set up to discuss the RO and a few other issues I need to handle with her.

I am so so sorry.
So at this time she is inhabiting your home, that you pay a mortgage on, and has the ability to steal or destroy your belongings while you are struggling to figure out how to protect yourself from her...
Wow.
Just wow. So incredibly sorry.
OMG Tjg your story is a total nightmare! It just shows how being a "nice guy" (whether man or woman) can totally backfire when dealing with an A. It's like you, the normal one, lose all YOUR rights. What's next? Are you going to be forced to pay maintenance on her? Grrrrrrr it makes me so mad! May your story serve as a HUGE lesson to others sucked into the vortex of the A.
Alcoholic whatever she is a nut case. I am stunned she wasn't arrested for smashing your car and very unclear as to what evidence the DA needed - unless she lied and said you did it.
Hope you get the RO soon.

I lost what little faith I had in our legal system over this.

^ don't you love how they only take their mask off when you're the only person there? My ex was famous for treating me great when people were around and then deplorably after they were gone. Two sides of the devil. Wishing you continued strength and peace, truly. I'm so sorry you are dealing with this.

In 21 days I get to go to court, have the judge see I've given her notice as required by law, and then the police can evict her.
Of course, this will all cost me money.
Also just found out she hasn't gone to work since Monday.
