Teenage Drinking
A friend of mine has a 16 year old son that is drinking (sometimes driving). He is also using pot. She called me upset about what to do. The techniques I've learned in Alanon seem difficult to implement with a single mother/son situation.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

pookielou.....I would tell her to get p rofessional help (guidence) asap.
She doesn't have much wait-around-time, if he is 16, now.
I think that reluctance to get the right help is a common and big mistake that people make!
