"Just Start"

This blog was mentioned in an email I received, and the reason it caught my attention was this quote:

“Start now. Start where you are. Start with fear. Start with pain. Start with doubt. Start with hands shaking. Start with voice trembling. Just start. Start and don’t stop. Start where you are, with what you have. Just start.”

Is there any one of us here who doesn't relate to that?

Here's a link to the blog if you'd like to take a look: JUST START. - Posts from the Path

honeypig......do you even know how many times in my life I have had to proceed forward with "shaking hands" and "trembling legs" and "quivering voice".....when it looked dark in all directions......
somehow....I am still here....I am still standing.....and I still have my heart and my soul with me......

You are soo right! Every person on this forum---who is feeling paralyzed by the fear, read this and apply it.....

Thanks!

Love it. Especially the part called: The Answer Is No
I hope you won't mind if I repost it on the newcomers forum

Share away, my recovery friends! I thought there was a lot of really, really good stuff there and I'm happy that you folks found it useful too.

So true, and for many aspects of life, including my housework, which I am going to start right now.

Thanks Honeypig. I get into procrastinating specially for exercise so after reading this, I got out the skis, hooked the dog to my skijoring harness and went off down the street. It was super short but I was moving, the dog got some exercise and we were outside. It brought just a bit more good into the world.
