CoDA or alanon?

I've kept coming back to alanon at least once a week since May. I am making huge strides in recovery, but for some reason, now that the alcoholic is out of my life, I do feel that my shares are a little out of place. I am wondering if CoDa would be more appropriate? I have never been to one of these meetings. I am sure it is just as similar as Alanon.

I am a codie, through and through, btw.

I haven't been to a Coda meeting. This thread may give some different views:

I'm a very grateful member of Alanon. My sponsor highly recommended going to as many 12 step meetings as possible.

To clarify... Coda is on my list, if that's what works with my schedule! We just have very few Coda meetings in my area.

I attended both and found both very helpful. Al-anon gave me the practical tools and Coda allowed me to see why I acted as I did.
