Strange new world
 

So it's only been 6 months of separation with my husband. I went out the other night with a friend, and she had her guy friend there. We chatted all night, he is just an easy going super funny guy. He asked me some questions about my husband/relationship, so I gave him a brief run down of the past and current circumstances. Obviously he knows I have my daughter (now 18 months). He doesn't have any kids or a previous marriage. Well, he wants to hang out tomorrow. Think he might be a bit keen. I'm not really physically into him but I guess there's no harm in just catching up.
Sheesh, it's so weird navigating all this stuff.
I just don't know what I feel, guess I'll just have a nice time and not think too much about it.

I bet at one point in your life you thought you were out of the dating thing. I hope you enjoy getting together with this guy. It can't hurt to make a new friend.

I think going out with someone that you are not attracted to I'd the perfect "first date"! It'll be 'less threatening' this way, don't ya think? Have fun!!!
