It will be back.
It pops on and off.
Others have been trying to figure it out too.
Remember, Karma is really never gone, sometimes you just can't see it.

Maybe we all just went into denial about the karma. Maybe if we admit we are powerless, we will see it again.
This could just be a test by Jon. All together now -
We are powerless over karma, our karma has become unmanageable.

Looks like our karma didn't make it past the experimental stages...or did it? You never know for sure around here. I stole all your karma and wrapped it in this box Do not open 'til Christmas.

Lorelai: There could be several lessons. It might be the lesson in "we've strayed from our primary purpose", or "principals before personalities" or "abusing karma, giving karma just to see what happens after someone will soon become famous= 2 green squares" (did anyone find out?) or a fun reminder of how easy it is to obsess about something we have absolutely no control over. Guess we do need to turn it over. What ever is "His Will" will surely be... in time.
Sure enjoyed it though!

My thoughts on the Karma situation. (Remember, this is just my opinion)

I am a moderator at another board (completely non-related to alcoholism/drug abuse in any way, shape, or form). There have been members there that have made a big deal about their "status" to the point that the focus was taken off of the primary purpose of the board.
So..............
When I come here, and the Karma option is activated - I view it as "a bonus". It is not something I feel the need to post about - or worry about. I look at it as a quiet type of feedback from others. An option that others can use to tell me if they feel that what I contribute to this board is beneficial in any way (as well as not beneficial).

I like having the karma activated. But even when it's not, I'll still be here to give what I can and take what I need.
It's just a button, another tool that I can use in my recovery - but it's all of you and our situations that keep us bonded.
And so I focus on that - not on the points and karma option.

I liked the Karma. I thought it was a nice little plus to give some good Karma to someone for making me feel a little better, giving me some good advice or insight, or just because someone ELSE was having a bad moment. I hope it comes back.

Karma comes and goes around here. If it comes back, go to your profile, and "edit options" to enable.
