Thank you guys... I should know by the end of the week on his CT Scan. It'd be nice if he'd just walk into the ER and get one done but he's so damn stubborn, nothing has changed in that regard since the accident in July 2013. He was such a horrible patient to deal with.

He wrecked his bike on Monday right below the house. The throttle went out on it and he dumped the bike on top of him and hit his head off the road. UGH.... I can't make this **** up! So, He refused medical attention. drank all night n day. Called off work and Wednesday morning, I made him go to a scheduled dr appointment. The dr urged him into the ER which I was un able to do. He was very confused and just a mess. So off we went. They did the CT scan early and xrayed him to make sure he didn't have any broken bones or hip because he was complaining about it and took blood work. The CT scan came back very good. No fluid, no hematomas from the bike accident and no bleeding on the brain. YES!!! Some of you may remember me getting my ass chewed by a PA through his neuro team on why I didn't have his head checked... Let me tell all of you that drunks and brain bleeds mirror each other. That is why he is always getting a head scan. He is just at high risk because of the TBI 2 years ago. Since everything did come back fine, they still would not release him. Why? He had a BAL of:

.249.

So to end this... I am selling the bike as soon as I get it back from Harley Davidson. It was a mistake and I'm not going to watch him do this after promising he wouldn't and that we could have a bike and enjoy it this time. We clearly can not... So. If anyone wants to buy a 2008 Harley Davidson Night Train for $16,500... hit me up!

P.S. He said he's sobering up. I drug his ass out of bed yesterday morning because he ditched work and is looking at a 3 day suspension. I hope they hammer him. Let that jerk know he ain't special and THEY DO NOT NEED HIM! He is never happy til he gets me so damn mad I can't keep my mouth shut. It's funny... he looks so much better after 24 hours of no booze but the booze ain't his problem. Ya know, it never is.

NO! I'm actually speechless Box, I can't wrap my mind around why he would want to poke at fate this way. So glad you got good news at the scan & I wish you luck on selling the bike - it's gorgeous & I'm sure you won't have to wait long for the right buyer.

(((((hugs))))) Girl, don't forget to take care of YOU in all of this!

Unbelievable.

You're right, we couldn't MAKE this sh*t up.

Getting rid of the bike is a good idea at this point. Sort of like putting pointy objects out of reach of a small child.

Ugh.

I'm in total disbelief too, Boxy. You've done everything right. I don't know how he can keep choosing to dance with the devil.

Im still getting rid of the bike. Things got bad just a few days ago and he's on the chopping block at work and we're waiting to see if they are going to suspend him for 3 days or not.

Tomorrow morning we are going to start the paper work on his retirement 9 years early. He just can't do it anymore and it has a lot more to do with his accident, the brain injury, mental confusion and yes, alcoholism. He can hardly walk because his let leg was affected by the accident. He's also going to look into disability too. There is just too much stuff that he just can't do anymore.

Oh my gosh, I cannot believe this. Well, I am glad he got the scan and am glad you are getting rid of the bike, if not, he could kill himself or someone else on it.

Many hugs and prayers to you BR!
