An update & some randomness.

Positives : I have a new job, uni going well and am volunteering & I think my guide dog is saving me. Small holiday booked.

Negatives: ABF letting me down, stress with his family & I am losing my remainder of sight.

So, I travelled to my Mum's alone due to ABF not wanting to come - this caused my anxiety to peak m, I had an emergency appointment as eyes deteriorating and he cancelled at last minute with diarrhoea!

Am gutted that I now have an exit plan. I am giving him til September when it's been a year since problems started.

He starts detox in a few weeks but he is doing it at home and I cannot take time off - a nurse coming in a few times a day but going to ask his mum. As have a life and am moving on.

I keep praying for a breakthrough.😢

Hi Catareta, wow, you are moving on. You have many obstacles and that's what they are, but you are dealing with them.

Unfortunately with alcoholics, nothing gets in the way of them drinking or repercussions of the drinking. Very selfish people, I know, I drank!

Look after yourself and keep positive while planning ahead for your life.
