I Found an Apartment!
 

Just found out about an hour ago. I saw an apartment this past Wednesday and immediately applied. It's a great spot for the kids and me. And despite my severely impaired credit and sketchy landlord reference, I was able to explain my situation directly to the owner, and he approved me.

Moving the first week of September. Thank you HP!!

Oh YAY!! That is so awesome! So happy for you!!! I remember when no one would take me on without my X signing the lease but I finally found this place and I'm so very happy that I did because it is such a great neighborhood and I love the house, itself. Things work out for a reason the way they are supposed to, I guess. YAY for you!

I love logging on here and seeing a post like that! I am so happy for you!!! It sounds perfect! Yay!!!!!

I am very, very excited! There are a lot of great things about this particular place, including covered parking in the basement of the building (which is a luxury in Wisconsin that I never thought I could afford) and hot water baseboard heating (rather than forced air heating, which always creates issues for my asthma and allergies).

It's in a secure buzzer-entry building, too. And...it's the least expensive one I saw!
