Doing Better
A full week since my husband came home from the facility sober. Getting use to the different lifestyle has been rough. I have had several cries and feelings of anger. Mostly happiness and smiles.
I am having a hard time dealing with the whole AA family and then there's me, his wife. It seems so secretive. He told me his sobriety will always come first. I told him I understand because if he isn't sober, he and I won't exist. All I can say is, this is a HUGE adjustment.
As I have heard and said to myself since this all started, "One Day at a Time". The rewards of this are going to be worth it.
