I agree with Sparkle--I would just get some distance and start the paperwork.
The fact you "need" confirmation suggests you are still emotionally vulnerable to manipulation--

So sorry beverson--drinking is bad enough, but deliberate cheating is so crushing to a spouse. . .

Just wanted to share that I did not know how bad, truly, things were until I got out. My ex has done some pretty dirty and disgusting things to try and hurt me, purposely, because he is a very sick person. Yours sounds pretty sick as well. Your life will be so much better-hers, not so much. Peace to you

I second the above. I could see things from a different perspective once we separated. Good luck. Life with alcoholism feels like torture at times.
