Serenity Prayer at the laundromat, and other places. Serenity Prayer
God, grant me the Serenity
to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and wisdom to know the difference.
I found myself saying the Serenity Prayer this evening at the laundromat. I went from frustration to seeing options and being able to make a decision free from emotions, almost instantly.
Saying it at every Alanon meeting and very often with my 8 yr old son before bed or in the car, is starting to mean a lot more.
Although it has no limits, where have you said the Serenity Prayer?
