quack

Last time I heard from XAH, it was a text to tell me he is blind (lol). Honestly, my favorite quack ever.

Unfortunately, he also texted today, "Easter plans?"

The unmitigated gall of that man. I wanted to text back, yes, we have plans, but NOT getting sucked in.

I haven't spoken to him since Jan. 24. I received a couple of clearly drunken texts in Feb. and March. The last time I physically saw him he was passed out on his front lawn. That was only 3weeks ago, approx.

So no, not going there! QUACK

:whoop

That's a big, fat IGNORE.

It's so nice when we learn we don't have to JUMP when they whistle.

Blind? Ok. That's a good one.

AliWProk 04-04-2015 02:15 PM

Yes, it really is liberating. I'm getting used to it!

How does he see to text now that he's blind ...? :-)

Blind, and he texted you? Lol. Didn't quite think that one through, did he.

LexieCat 04-04-2015 05:10 PM

Yeah, it must be a real bitch to hear that alert for the reply and have to run and find someone to read it to you.

I'd be tempted to text back 'Yes'. Of course you're doing the right thing not to. Happy Easter.

That is hilarious that he texted he was blind! Mine has told me he is "dying that particular night" so many times that now I just roll my eyes and say great, have fun with that. Of course my stbxah is abusive, so I say it where he cannot hear.

The quacks have become increasingly bizarre. Thankfully, my experience here at SR, and thank god Al Anon, have given me real tools to deal with it.

I have to say, the quackers threads have been the most eye-opening threads on the F&F boards. Not only do we share the myriad ways our As attempt to manipulate us in order to defend their addictions and continue in them, with us enabling all the way - but the chance to laugh it off and realize it really isn't about you is very healing.

Of course, you find out pretty quick that they will say ANYTHING to hook you. Like texting that he's blind. Even that crazy crap is insightful- yes, XAH, you ARE blind. You don't see yourself or what you're doing to everyone else.

I love you guys. Thanks for listening.
