Thank you for this. I can relate completely, and yet you said it all so much more beautifully than I could have imagined!!
Trauma bonding isn't love.
And just because you are standing in the wreckage of another person's projections, that they've thrown at you, doesn't mean you have become one with the garbage at your feet!
The wreckage will just lay there. You are whole and only need to start walking away. The only part that can follow you is what you've let in your head--and over time, you'll see that for what it is: not yours.
