I've just spent some time reading through old posts from him.

I'm grateful that we have his input, humor, and wisdom to go back to. No offense to anyone else here. I just really feel like there's a big hole where he used to be. And I never realized I could miss someone I have never met that much.

Agreed, lillamy. He was wise, uplifting, and is missed. Isn't it wonderful to think that he was able to turn his trials into triumph and be a gift to so many? We were so blessed to have him here.

he really did seem like such a nice person. i am glad he found acceptance and was able to move on from pain before he left.

Funny, but I was just thinking about him a few days ago and wondered how his family was faring, etc. I miss his input too, but like you, am grateful we have his old posts to reflect upon here.

Such a wonderful thread lillamy! He was always so kind and gentle and compassionate while also saying what needed to be said. His presence is missed for sure

Same here, I was also thinking about him the other day. I just miss seeing that blue Moose avatar of his and think: Goodies, let's see what M1k3 has to say about it.
It is so cool though that he left us a written legacy.

I know, every so often I stumble across one of his posts in an old thread, I see that blue moose and get all excited for a second and then I remember...

Personally, I'm kicking myself for never making a coffee date with him while he lived here. He was maybe half an hour or so away from me, and his ex-wife's apartment was right near where I used to live.

I'm glad we had him as long as we did, though....
