I definitely remember They're Coming to Take Me Away, but I'm not much of an Alice Cooper fan, so I never heard the other one. I listened to about 30 seconds of it and said, okay, that's enough of that.

Should maybe be the AA / Alanon Relationship Song.
Maybe You're Not the Worst Thing Ever (from "Galavant" (Official Lyric Video))

Of course I remember that song, just beautiful.
My computer is really acting up tonight, I think I remember that by Glen Campbell. Didn't look like him, then my computer shut off. My computer keeps over heating.
I listened to Frankie also. Good old Frank. Born in Hoboken NJ. Has a street there named after him. I also share his birthday.

You know...I don't know if I ever did or not. It's funny you ask that...when I was about 8 years old, my alcoholic dad had already abandoned us...my mom had to work nights and asked what I planned to watch on TV that night. Town Without Pity was showing on TV that night, but I didn't even notice it. I picked out some generic goofy crap to watch and Mom was happy.
I asked her later (because for some reason, that conversation stuck in my head) why she asked what I was going to watch and she told me that she hoped I didn't watch that show because she didn't think it was appropriate for me at my age.
Funny the stuff you remember.

At the age of 8, you might not have appreciated that film for what it was. It was about sexr sex. I think it was just about a young person was, and how the town turned against her. I think. I think he was a soldier, I think she took her own life, not sure. Memory is poor but need to watch this again. I haven't watched it for over 30 years, but that song is haunting, and makes me want to watch it again.
