Grateful
 

I had a real blessing today. I took the girls into town with me to go grocery shopping and decided to drive by where they were supposed to be having a noon al-anon meeting. Once again.. NO ONE in the parking lot at all. So I just drove to the second location and saw a bunch of cars.
Well I asked, and it wasn't alanon. It was AA, but they welcomed me inside. It was my first AA meeting.

I did talk (of course I talked...I can talk the ear off an elephant).
Soooo many uplifting comments and hearing these folks talk about how long it took them to fully grasp and REALLY accept step 1. It was very encouraging.

Also, I found out about the alanon meetings and what happened. Now I'll be good to go to those meetings with the new info I got today.

Anyway, I had NO intention of going to a meeting today, but God put me right where I needed. I am grateful for that.

Yeah.

That God GPS/Navigator stuff can be pretty impressive, huh?
