That is exactly how alcoholics think! I'm a recovering alcoholic with 23 years of hard work in the program. But if they announced a cure for alcoholism I would celebrate by drinking a bottle of nice champagne. They don't call this the disease of insanity for nothing! The difference now is I know the thought is crazy and I should call my sponsor.
