Full of Crap?

There has been a lot of discussion, lately, as to whether the alcoholic is serious about "quitting" (this time), or not.

This article-- taken from the "Classic readings" stickies, at the top of the page has been one that I refer to time and time again....I consider it one of the best!

"10 ways to tell when an addict or alcoholic is full of crap"
The Alcoholism and Addictions Help Forums- by SoberRecovery.com

I think it is worth sharing, again....

Thanks, Carlotta.

My brains are leaking out my ears tonight so I didn't feel like looking for it, myself.

I need to go to bed, another trip tomorrow and a bunch of stuff I need to do before I leave.

Thanks for the links! I read it, and as an RA, I see it as a lot of "but..but..but". Been there, done that, and until I got past those "but's", I didn't find recovery. Just my opinion, but I see a whole lot of the former me in the link.

I do have to admit, as an also recovering codependent - I had a lot of those "but's" in that situation.

It wasn't until I could fully let go of the "but's" and face what IS, did I fully embrace recovery.

Hugs and prayers,

Amy
