Hi all

It's been a bit.
My brother once again had upper GI bleeding and was in ICU for several days.

I did talk to him but was very firm that I could not help him if his latest GF is involved.

I didn't even know he had been released from the hospital, my oldest brother told me. He also said he my other brother is with this so called GF now.

I haven't heard from him in several weeks, and it just blows my mind that I jumped through all those hoopes and wore myself out over someone who really isn't there anymore.

I just can't feel much beyond a sort of relived resignment.

It's hard to see someone you care about disintegrate. I'm glad you've been able to keep some distance, and some peace of mind.

Take care of yourself. Go to Alan on meetings. Seek some help to just keep your mind off of him. When he is ready he will seek help. Let him fall and let him lift himself up.
