I am SO sorry for your loss! It's never easy when we lose one of our beloved furbabies. I know all to well how it felt like being kicked while already down when I unexpectedly lost my beloved Lab while my Mom was passing away from cancer. And if/when you decide to bring another into your life, remember he/she won't be replacing your other furbaby... your heart just grows even bigger to fit the new love into it :-)

Take your time, hon, and just grieve the loss of your beloved fur baby. I went through it in August when I had to have my 15 year old kitty put down due to cancer. She was with me through so much and didn't really like anyone except me. She made me feel special.

So much has been going on in your life the past few years. I'm sure you have a lot of pent up sorrow and anger and anxiety, etc. Go ahead and allow yourself to feel the feelings you need to. We all have to do it sometime. (((HUGS)))

I'm so sorry for your loss and am glad to know your furry friend had you by their side at this time.
