Sounds like an EXCELLENT plan.

Alcoholics (and other people who have various personality disorders) can easily have you second-guessing, doubting yourself, confused about reality. It's very hard to live that way. Finding yourself doubting what you heard or saw or otherwise observed is a pretty good sign that something unhealthy is going on in the relationship.
