Bad Poetry
Hi Everyone,
I was having one of those days where I just kept thinking about the chores my husband hadn't done. So instead of actually doing the chores or winding up for a good nag when he got home, I decided to write some bad poetry. Hope you enjoy this bit of silliness.

A Codependent’s Meditation on Chores
I will not do my husband’s chores
His junk can stay right on the floor
The nagging harpy will not be heard
This lady won’t say a single word
Though garbage overflowing may block my path
And toxic fungi grows in the bath
The sink is brimming with dishes and pots,
Old coffee grounds and food that rots
I’ve made up my mind; my resolve is clear
I will yell no more and shed no tear
While the hamper explodes with foul-smelling clothes
And the ghastly mess around his desk ever grows
The litterboxes are filled with stinky pee and poo
And his mailbox is crammed with bills overdue
I will not, will not clear this mess
I won’t beg, plead or feel distress
It’s all his crap he must resolve,
If his bad habits are to evolve
If they do not, I’ll love him no less
I’ll just love him from a new address
I will not do my husband’s chores
His junk can stay right on the floor
The nagging harpy will not be heard
This lady won’t say a single word
Though garbage overflowing may block my path
And toxic fungi grows in the bath
The sink is brimming with dishes and pots,
Old coffee grounds and food that rots
I’ve made up my mind; my resolve is clear

I will not, will not clear this mess
I won’t beg, plead or feel distress
It’s all his crap he must resolve,
If his bad habits are to evolve
If they do not, I’ll love him no less
I’ll just love him from a new address
"I’ll just love him from a new address"
ummm when I get home from work I think I should move some things *LOL*
I did do some laundry today when I had taken the last towel.
Fully understood each line.
The new address isn't because you have had enough... it would be because there is no room left that that address. *LOL*
Is there a packrat anon? I think the packrat thing just goes along with the other issues?
