Hopeful4, yes thankfully I do have face to face support here, program and non-program friends I meet with most weeks. That has helped so much. For a while I felt as if I had disappeared from myself and my life.
FeelingGreat, thank you, fortunately we are in a good area and I felt safe in the car, just cold. But I do know I need to put my safety first, regardless of how things may seem.
Ladyscribbler - wow, what an image your story renders. A touching one at that. Frightening and worrisome I'm sure, but what strength you had to do what you had to do. Last night there was no violence save for him pushing in the bedroom door as I tried to close it (this was when I was just leaving the room to sleep). Then he had locked it and told me to tell him what I needed and he'd get it for me. Ugh. Anyway, when I left it was calm.
Kidsr#1, thank you for that suggestion. A friend is nearby and I will speak to her about that plan. It's a good one.
