Finally something to celebrate

As am any of you will know my son was completing some very important exams and I was so worried about the impact my separated AH decision to leave would have had for him and these exams! Well we collected his results today and he passed them all and not just passed but got excellent grades. He has been accepted back into school to study for the next level!

I am so proud of my son he has dealt with so much and he has worked so hard.

I am feeling extremely happy and proud

I'm so happy to hear that!!! I know that change can be difficult for kids (regardless of age) and I hope this means your AH's absence has given your son calm rather than stress!!!

I was so concerned that my complete and utter melt down and AH departure would have created so much stress and worry for him!

Butterfly, mine went the exact opposite way -- they crashed and burned in school. So you had every reason to be worried, and now have every reason to celebrate!

Excellent news! Getting away from my AM to go to college was the best thing I did for myself as a teenager. Children can truly blossom when they are outside of the alcoholic environment.
