I am trying to focus more of my energy on myself rather than AH. So just for today I'm going to do something just for me! It is so easy for me to fall into the trap of neglecting myself. Going to take time out of my schedule today and get a haircut and eyebrow wax. This may not seem like a big deal to most people but when you have gone so long neglecting yourself it's huge. So I'm trying to make a conscious effort to take care of me. What are you going to do today to take care of you?

Last night I had an AMAZING acupuncture session & then slept like a newborn..... zzzzzzzz........ today I work at home but have a very manageable amount to accomplish & then I will be doing a DIY mani/pedi & going to a reiki healing circle tonight. DD made mini 2-bite cupcakes & chocolate chip cookies to share with everyone at the center.

Today I'm going to finish a (commissioned) drawing, go to the gym, walk along the sea front and go to my Alanon meeting. There are some real characters in the latter, with many years of recovery behind them, and it's always a pleasure!

Today I'm putting off a big clean and tidy in preparation for and agent coming round tomorrow to value the house.

Yesterday I cleaned the bathroom (and I mean CLEANED, with a bleachy toothbrush in the corners, even!), so tonight after our company leaves, I will hit the tub with a new book and a glass of wine.
