morning prayer
A recovery friend passed on to me part of his morning prayer and I thought I'd share because I thought it was pretty cool. "God, thank you for getting me thru another night, I don't know how today will turn out, but if it turns out to be a bad day, please don't let me screw it up worse than it already is". Got me thinking about all the times I thought I knew what was best and just ended up making it worse.
