I've posted here before and have always appreciated the responses I have gotten... I'm at the point in a relationship with my "recovering" (I use that term lightly) alcoholic/addict boyfriend/father of my 8 month old where I am trying to leave or trying to work it out and stay. I was hoping to find someone who has been in my position and stayed or left that would want to direct message me so we can chat.

I've gone to alanon meetings and in the SMALL town I live in, I find it uncomfortable to speak or share in a meeting where I know people.. Yet that is.

I just want to know what others have done to stay sane while being supportive and or what people have done to leave.
