rehab family week - prayers welcome
Family week, rehab round two. A different rehab with some things better, some things not as good as the last one. This time family week is 3 days, I'm healthier and all our older kids will be there. AH is only 10 full days sober, yet he's been learning a lot these past few months (relatively, from where we were before) so hopefully that helps to balance things out a bit.
This truly is a family disease, effecting us all and in our case continually passed down genetically and socially. I'm thankful we're taking this step in changing the conception of what recovery for us may be, that it can be together instead of alone. Prayers welcome. I am praying for guidance, an open mind and open heart.

Well, ok. See you all there.
Will be among the Alanon-dorks that come through and say hi and encourage the families to try Alanon, etc.
Just smile and wave, as we will only sort of recognize each other in passing.
