Interesting post script to this thread.
Barb used to crochet blankets for hospice patients as one of her many hobbies. One of the women in my Tuesday morning group is dealing with her mother's final days and they have placed her in hospice care. Upon arriving at hospice, her mother received one of the blankets Barb had crocheted. My Alanon friend said when she saw who had made the blanket it brought her a feeling of peace and comfort in the midst of her grief.
Even now, months after her own passing, Barb is still touching people's lives in a positive way. Just wanted to share her remarkable legacy.

That is so sweet, and shows us that even when we are gone, the part we play in life will affect others... what a sweet lady.

Wow. We never know what circle of comfort we might create when we skip a loving stone into the lake.
