What I would suggest is making a list like you have done above of all the scary stuff you X has done and go have a discussion with your attorney. Tell your attorney that you would like to have a court appoint an attorney for your children. They did that for my boys and it is totally free. She has been the key to my entire case. She is not working for me (I still have my attorney) but I really don't even need mine any longer. Because she is not on mine or my XAH side the courts seem to really take her word when she says there are issues.

If you are done with the financial issues of your divorce this may be all you need to get you through the custody problems.
