Smile First fun night in a while

Hi everyone!!!
I had the first fun night last night that I have had since I made my A leave.
My son likes to play cards so me and his Grandma played poker with him last night. He took me for about $3 and her for about $7.....boy is he happy
The A was only brought up one time......I just said I don't want to talk about it right now and the subject was dropped.
I am praying this day will be better than yesterday ( the A came by for more of his things... didn't go well )

Hi Chandra

I'm sorry yesterday didn't go well, but I'll just bet (bad choice of words to a poker player ) that the fun you had last night took the edge off.

I have found that there is a time to think seriously about what is happening in my life, and there is a time to "not go there" and get my mind to a better more positive place.

That's called recovery, and you are well on your way. And to share some fun with your son and his grandma probably brightened their day too.

Chandra,

I wish you could speed up the process of your A getting his things out. It seems to just prolong the agony.

Can't he borrow a truck or something?

Hugs,

MG

He has a truck....a small S10....but it's almost over. In a way I am the one who is delaying of sorts, but not on purpose. When he is here he starts on "I want.....I want......" When it gets to bad I have said "That's enough...no more today" At that point I don't feel I can take him anymore without loosing it completely and just want him out of my face. I have done this at least 2 times. At this point I am not sure he is getting what is left, it's things we aquired while we were together and he doesn't need it where I probably will, seeing as I am going to try to stay here. ( Here being a house we rented )
