I just came up with this idea this afternoon……..I called my mom who is up north along with the rest of my family……..and asked them what they were doing for the fourth………they were doing nothing…..so I suggested that we all go to my brother’s house (which he has a lot of land) and pull our campers there (since we would no way get a site this last minute notice) they all went for it…….I wont be able to go till tomorrow……..Of course I didn’t run any of this by my husband yet………but I really don’t see why we cant go……….I already no that he is going to burst my bubble when I get home……

We are going camping on the 9th of July for 9 days and we need to save the money for that…He doesn’t like my one sister and I really don’t think he likes my brother much…….but he does get along well with my dad………(my dad don’t know the real him)…….so he will use that as an excuse…..and my brother will probably have a couple of beers………I know that will be hard for him, because it has only been 75 days since he has been sober……..What would be a good case that I could present to him to let me go and be with my family???? I would like to bring my jet ski and the camper……we would have a blast…..the only thing that it would cost would be gas money………….I really want to go badly………..

the last few words of your post are all the case you NEED.

I don't think that he can really "let" you or not let you go and be with your family. You assume he's going to mad about it so I guess you need to decide if it worth it for you to go even if he gets mad.
