ABF talking in his sleep..thoughts please!
Hi everyone. Last night my partner was having a conversation in his sleep with his brother about me. I have had a few health issues recently which have inconvenieced our sex life. He has been good about it in waking life, but last night he said some very unkind and down right nasty things about my situation whilst sleeping. Even using phrases ive never heard him use before. I cant stop thinking about it today. Do you think its how he really feels or not? I talked to him about it this morning and he said i should take no notice or his crazy ramblings. Any thoughts out there? x

hi spooky....well, for me it was like this: my XAH had enough on his plate to be held accountable for. did I really want to spend my precious time letting my mind spin around in the muddy drudges of his dreams?
I left the man's dreamworld be. the real life was enough of a challenge. didn't need to burden myself with more muck of murky dreams.

Dreams sort of exaggerate everything, which is a way of processing. For instance you might dream a friend has died, when all they've done is move away. You are processing the loss.
Probably stick to how he behaves when he's awake.

I certainly have experienced some over the top exaggerated dreams.
And that's what they were......... just dreams.
I'm thinking you may just be a bit more self conscious they days.
I'd let this go......
Hope you are on the road to a healthy recovery.

Well mine use to do it all the time, there were times I thought he was actually talking to me as if he was awake then in the morning he would not know what I am talking about, We would even make plans etc. I learned he was telling the truth when we was asleep and I would ask him question and he would tell me and then in the morning he would lie.
one night while sleeping my husband was belting out "Who Can It Be Now?" by Men at Work. he has no recollection of that and doesn't even much care for MAW.
do not hold someone accountable for what they do in the unconscious dream state.
