Happy Happy Happy!!!
Just wanted to share my happiness. As most of you know, I sold my accounting practice and have been freelancing the last few months. I felt very in-between because I plan to move west to join my husband sometime, maybe fall, but have been using this time to decide what I want to do, to heal from recent codependency wounds, and to just relax and enjoy myself (something I have never done to this extent).
Well I was getting restless and heard about this great job, with a designer of wedding gowns who is quite well known in the fashion world (needless to say I didn't know who she was
) and who has a huge operation in New York, and who has opened a Toronto operation within the past year. She needed an accountant who could also help her with Management of her company, and everything just fit so well, and she is a terrific, very down-to-earth person who I know will be fun to work with.
Anyway - today it is final - I got the job and start Monday. And I feel so good about it. I am very comfortable with what this job requires and it isn't a huge energy depleter. I will be away from the boards most days (unless I can sneak on there) but will be here early morning and most nights.
I am also grateful that I had time for myself in between. Oh, she knows my husband is out west and is absolutely fine about me taking time to go see him every 6-8 weeks. Isn't that amazing!
Anyway, I was busting to share this and am glad you are all here.

Way to go Anns! I agree with Smoke, you will be the best thing that ever happened to her! I know somedays I wish I didn't have to come to work, I am in the Healthcare field. I do love my job though.

And JT - you got me laughing so hard - I can picture her getting E-mails from people with names like "JuneCleaver", "Smoke", "Morning Glory", "Bonbon", "Sit Tight" and the rest. Poor woman would wonder what on earth she was getting into. <img border="0" alt="[Smile02]" title="" src="graemlins/../graemlins/smile02.gif" />
I hope I'll see my parking attendant, Beth, again too. She wasn't working today, but I believe that she was part of my "up" attitude when I went for my interviews. Maybe SHE was one of MY guardian angels.

Anns, I want to add my congrats to you! Isn't it wonderful when everything comes together? Its like there is a grand plan just for you if you are open to it. God is surely moving in your life. Congrats and Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy!! Yippie!!!
