Back in january AH spent 4 days in hospital after being confused and blacking out even though he hadnt drunk much for him anyway. He had thiamine drip for 3 days. Now even if he has 3 beers there is an obvious change in his mental behaviour. God help if he drank a 750 ml bourben like before. Any one else experience this type of thing. Thinking wernkes or korsaoffs

dessy, I have no experience w/this sort of thing. With all the privacy concerns now, do you have permission to talk to your AH's doctor about his condition? If not, can you contact another health professional, maybe your own doctor, and tell him/her the story and get some general information as to what may be going on?

Regardless of what the situation turns out to be, do take care of you. Are you doing Alanon or something for your own support?
