HOLLYWOOD - Adhesion mogul Manco T. Duck proposed to Ally McBeal star Calista Flockhart last week in her secluded Malibu beach home. Sources close to the wafer-thin actress confirmed that she accepted. The happy couple then celebrated with a picnic lunch of millet and a special bottle of Lake Erie water, shipped in from Duck's waterfront home near the mouth of the Cuyahoga River.

The couple's future plans are still up in the air, but they are expected to maintain two nests, one in California and one in Ohio. Flockhart, after her recent adoption of a baby boy, has not decided on having ducklings, but has been heard speaking openly about her interest in laying eggs.

Both parties have involved their lawyers to draw up prenuptial agreements and to tackle the legal hurdles necessary for the wedding to take place. Currently no state in the union allows a woman to marry a domesticated duck

Well, I just got back from "Nunsense" rehearsal. At one point I looked down on the floor and saw a package of masking tape... with Manco. T's picture on the front. I laughed out loud. No one looked askance, as the show is a comedy and they were rehearsing.... but they all think I'm "eccentric" anyway.

What are the chances of that happening. You should go read the rest of the site. It's on the Awards post. The history was kind of funny.
