Headlice
I absolutely promise you the best way to get rid of head lice is to blow dry their hair. Just shampoo & condition it as normal (for some reason "Pantene" brand comes to mind as having been a good choice for this?) & then blow dry. Make sure it is DRY, especially at the scalp. Do this every time they wash their hair until the lice have gone. We lived in Queensland when I went through this nightmare so hair washing would have been at least twice a week - if you don't usually do it that often I would increase to that rate until the lice have gone. And it doesn't hurt to put all their sheets & towels etc in the dryer on HOT after washing them either.
This method uses no toxic crud & no greasy goopy yuky stuff & it WORKS I promise. I almost poisoned all of us & drove everyone nuts when my daughter (with very long hair) was at school until I figured this out. The heat & drying from the blow dryer kills nits AND eggs. You & the kids will be so glad you found this tip!
