Auto Empowerment
I. BOUGHT. A. CAR.
All by myself.
I looked at it. I drove it. I tested it out. I asked questions. I bargained a little. I paid for it. I drove it home.
If you have read any of my recent threads, you will understand this car thing.
Anybody who was raised in a dysfunctional home where every feeling was undercut and every decision was derided will understand my overwhelming satisfaction in having done this by myself. Anyone who has every been in an alcoholic marriage will understand the quiet joy of trusting myself and going forward knowing that whatever comes, I can handle it.
And by golly....
IT'S RED.
