while exploring Google tonight I was reading an article regarding how difficult it is to meat men over 40...there was then a list of suggestions on how to do that....wait for it.....

One of the suggestions was to go to an AA meeting.....

Great advice if you just want to window shop and look and not touch... of course if you wanted to find men that are relationship material and not time bombs stuffed with red flags AA may not be the very best choice of places to go men shopping!

The gym might be a better place to go to simply "look" at men...

I could totally see going to AA to meet men...to remind me WHY I WANT TO STAY SINGLE!!!

If things were such that I really had to use that option, I would throw in the towel and become a nun.

I have threatened this options many times with my friends. Fortunately not one of them have offered to "introduce" me to anyone yet. I dread the day that will come...and I'm sure it will. Probably about the same time I stop talking about the advantages of being "Married to Jesus". LOL

and I disagree with the initial idea -- it's not hard to meet men over 40! On the contrary, men over 40 (and women!) tend to have a better idea of what they want from a relationship AND be more forthright about it. Saves time. :)
