Just getting out...thank you everyone. I can hear better almost instantly! I just have some cotton balls in right now to be able to tell for certain but I can already hear nurses talking with no help and that wasnt the case a few hours ago! I am dizzy but thats normal he said. I just need to take it easy.
I believe this is such an important part to my getting stronger because now I can be more social, attend meetings, more face to face that Ive been lacking even in remission.
Thank you everyone. I kept reading your posts going in and it helped me so much...didnt go looking for bread in a hardware store! Wooohoo!!

Prayers and positive thoughts coming your way for a successful surgery and regaining your ability to hear. You have been through so much. This is just another obstacle on your journey to a better, positive, loving and serene life.

You go girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I too have severe hearing impairment due to a smack in the head by a horse when I was young.
I tell everyone that gets frustrated at my asking them to repeat things by telling them to cover their own ears with their hands and then try to discern what I am saying to them because that is how I hear every day.
Kudos for you!! This is just a part of YOUR new beginning....
