O wow...Eighty!!! I will come walk with you tonight FS!!!! The other day I was thinking it felt pretty good out and took my dog for a little walk....I checked the temp thinking it felt a little warmer...it was 23!! LOL!

That's ok...soon enough it will be 100 degrees and I will be complaining about being too hot! I will take what God gives me and be glad for a roof over my head!

I will be grateful if I can talk my family into joining me for a walk tonight - we ALL need it!

I am also grateful RAH has been able to sell a few of his toys to pay for his legal fees instead of trying to pressure me for solutions.

Lizatola - how wonderful that your son stood up for himself, yay!!

I am grateful for the fact that I am emotional being, and that I can finally FEEL my emotions most of the time.

I am especially grateful today for the hard emotions like anger, sadness etc. They are the ones I least want to feel, but seem to learn the most from them.

I just started a mindfulness therapy group last night. Daily gratitude is one of my homework assignments.

Today I was grateful for a wonderful surprise Russian buffet I got to take a guest speaker in my class to, and also grateful that we were able to make nice conversation throughout the whole meal. I get really anxious about those kinds of things, but I asked about his kids and wife and shared a bit about mine and we both had a nice time and it wnet smoothly!

I am also grateful my I have committed to this mindfulness group and that hubby is continuing to work his program, and that because he has Individual and group therapy tonight the kids and I get to have dinner together "alone" tonight-(I'm also thankful for my awesome kids)!

Today I am grateful for bad days that make me look harder at myself! Which gave me the motivation to take better care of myself ie. loose weight and exercise, which led to an itunes app search for a nock off weight watchers calculator which I am very thankful I found!

Also, yesterday my BF was having a really rough day. I could tell something was wrong but just kind of left him alone. He finally told me that he was struggling and had called his sponsor that morning. He also said he knew it was just a feeling and that it would pass. It's funny because then he asked me, "do you ever just get tired of all the recovery stuff?" I said yes and told him he's not the only one!

Then we went to the bike shop to look at a new bike for me, which actually cheered him up. He's a big bicyclist and we're both looking forward to taking a trip on the Great Allegheny Passage this spring. When we got home we talked some more. I told him taking a day off from thinking about recovery is okay, but that we all need to keep plugging away at it to keep ourselves healthy and sane. He agreed. It was nice to finally see him laughing.

We both got through the day sober and went to bed smiling. I am so grateful for that. And for all of you.

Today, among other things...my hair stylist and a new rich shade of hair color, Gourmet Vegetarian pizza from Papa Murphy's (love the artichokes), above 32 degree temps, a warm house with no major appliance malfunctions, neighbors with a Bobcat and 4-wheeler/snow plow who shovel our street and driveways just because they're good people, and my Keurig.

I am grateful for my job. I love what I do. I enjoy the people I work with, both in my department and those I work with in the other departments. I get to work with people all over the world. I have been with them for 18 years. The company celebrated its 150th birthday last year!

Think about that - the company was "founded" in 1863!

I'm grateful to very open and caring people on SR. Very grateful to not be feeling the world in grays. Grateful to be able to focus at work, enjoy the process, and like the team I am now assigned to. Grateful to spend some time today with my kid who has been an absolute joy in my life.

I am grateful for my kids, who give me an abundance of hugs. Which means I am grateful for those hugs that can bring me back from the brink of tears and remind me why I chose to step out of the madness (I did this for them). I am grateful for my horses, who stand quietly with me and let me wrap my arms around their strong, majestic necks while I cry and never once have spooked from my sobbing, no matter what strange wails come out of me. I am grateful for my Great Dane who sleeps next to me at night, because that makes it not feel so empty when I am lying there staring at the wall trying not to think. And I am grateful for coffee...
