You get what you need when you need it. I was having a rough day today with obsessing. Then I turned on the radio and this somg was playing...Let it be When I find myself in times of trouble Mother Mary comes to me Speaking words of wisdom, let it be And in my hour of darkness She is standing right in front of me Speaking words of wisdom, let it be Let it be, let it be Let it be, let it be Whisper words of wisdom, let it be And when the broken hearted people Living in the world agree There will be an answer, let it be For though they may be parted There is still a chance that they will see There will be an answer, let it be Let it be, let it be Let it be, let it be Yeah there will be an answer, let it be Let it be, let it be Let it be, let it be Whisper words of wisdom, let it be Let it be, let it be Ah let it be, yeah let it be Whisper words of wisdom, let it be And when the night is cloudy There is still a light that shines on me Shine on until tomorrow, let it be I wake up to the sound of music, Mother Mary comes to me Speaking words of wisdom, let it be Yeah let it be, let it be Let it be, yeah let it be Oh there will be an answer, let it be Let it be, let it be Let it be, yeah let it be Oh there will be an answer, let it be Let it be, let it be Ah let it be, yeah let it be Whisper words of wisdom, let it be |
Ha! And I just learned the lyrics arent "living in a world of greed"... So on another happy note I am geatful for the oportunity to have learned something today! |
Thank you. Goofy, crazy me. I just sang this and took out the old Martin guitar we bought for my husband a couple decades ago. It has a beautiful sound, in spite of the fact that I don't know how to play it. :D Involved -- that is funny. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who sometimes hears lyrics wrong. We sang this in junior high choir. It was a small school and they must not have been allowed to throw anyone out! I still can't carry a tune. |
Ha! You go girl! |
I heard this song just the other day and it held more meaning for me now than ever before also...thanks for sharing. |
This is the song I had played as my father casket left the church. It brings beautiful and peace bearing tears to my eyes every time I hear it. When I got to actually sing it WITH Sir Paul in concert at Wrigley Field in Chicago, holding my daughters and husbands hands, well that moment was nothing less that sheer perfection... It's amazing how songs touch our souls. Thanks. |
ok, I tried Pandora, set for The Beatles. All I heard was "I am the walrus, coo-coo-ca-choo." I am pretty sure that was MY message. |
Ha hammer...talk about a mixed message! Thanks for the laugh! |
You can never go wrong with the Beatles!! Great song! |
