I absolutely gave away my power! I wanted to be a stay at home mom and keep house. I am not sorry at all that I stayed home with my kids. I also am not sorry that I tried to be the best wife and mother. I'm just sorry that I gave away my power.
Looking back on my life .... I had always given it away. I'm a people pleaser and a peace maker.. that is what people pleasers and peace makers do.
My mom was a stay at home mom and trust me.... she gave no power away LOL.
I'm just sorry that I did not stand firm on what I knew was right, did not stand up for myself. Because as a christian , I don't see anywhere in the bible where it says that a wife can be walked all over. I just can't figure out why I let it happen.
I still am trying to regain my power in ALL areas of my life. This board, all you people here have helped me in tremendous ways.. you just can't know how much. Well, maybe you can.
