After over three months of attending at least 5 meetings weekly, obsessively reading everything I can about al-anon, slowly learning to feel less ****** while drowning in self loathing and second-guessing myself every step of the way, I asked someone to be my sponsor last night.
They said yes!
The best part is that it is going to be positively beneficial for both of us.
