Awww, really tearing up... I sure miss my girl, Pickles, who we had growing up.

And Boo.

They're so special. And I'm sure she did nudge you over to this place with love.

Peace.

I don't really know if Colin Firth was taken yet. I offered him to Anvil. Think she is looking more into the muscle bound ones

I'm not really a big movie person, but I will sit through any movie he's in even if I don't like it too much lol.

Peace.

To get back to the original thread

I remember leaving my ex. I moved in with friends. They had bought a new home but couldn't move there for about a year. They sort of gave it to me.

I remember having the "don't tell me that I can't do this attitude". I love physical work. I painted every room in their new home. Including ceiling since all rooms including the ceilings were painted green. I took off wall paper, repaired all the walls. They loved me, thought I was the greatest. Yes, this made me feel good, I even painted the outside of the house.

But

what I loved the most, was their son had autism. He idolized me, I loved to show him all of my mistakes, and how "we" could fix things, and that everyone makes mistakes.

So, what makes you happy?

Big, little, silly, meaningful, etc - anything!

--------

I love dogs. So much! Always happy to see you, always love you. Shouldn't be long until mine is with me again (please say a prayer or send wishes! She is with family right now). Can't wait to be covered in doggie kisses lol. And to hug her and pet her.

I love cooking. It's something I'm good at and have good intuition for. Also love making really good things for cheap! It is so fun for me.

I love music.

I love to laugh! So much! Sometimes it's all I can do when feeling too overwhelmed or anxious. It feels good to laugh.

These are some things that make me happy.

You?
I love all of these things too! Just watching my dogs trot along without a care in the world can change my mood. They truly live in the moment. Also reading, writing, traveling and camping bring me a lot of joy.

Thanks for starting this thread. I needed it today. xo

My cats

Keep your athletes, dibs on Adam Levine.

A great book series.... My last one was the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Nothing but indulgent reading there!

I love theme parks, roller coasters & playing air hockey on a full sized table.

Rainbows

Guilty-pleasure tv.... Real and Desperate Housewives alike, lol!

Oh and speaking of rainbows....I'll never forget this! When I was a kid, I was in a plane and I don't even remember where we were going...but out the window I saw a rainbow that was like a bullseye, like this:

What makes me happy?

Weekends. Off work with no demands on my time. Nowhere I have to be. I work hard to get everything done during the week (shopping and whatnot) so that when I come home on Friday, I don't have to leave the house for anything, unless I WANT to. Most times, my car never leaves the driveway until Monday morning.

On weekends, I play with my fur babies. I read a lot in the recliner with my cat in my lap and my little dog resting on the footrest; big dog is on the floor enjoying a flavored rawhide chewey. I take a nap if I want to. I eat what I want when I want. I may do a load of laundry, but that's usually done one night during the week. The weekends are MINE, to do whatever I want or not do whatever I don't want.

I love that I bought a foreclosure that needed a lot of work, the house and I am healing together all the time. I bring life into the house and the house brings life back to me
