amy, that sounds nice. i have never been scuba diving, but my ex and i went snorkeling in Maui once and it was magical. i was maybe 20 feet down and saw a needle nose looking yellow fish that was beautiful. it swam by very close to me. i was amazed.

anvil, life can be tough sometimes. that is good of you to be a team player and take one for the team.

now thinking about trips i love. I love to travel.

favorite places: maui, santa fe, florence italy, bachelor gulch colorado

Mmm, massages...!

I went to see Lewis Black with my mom a few years ago. Had a blast!

Right now I'm into John Mulaney, Any Schumer, and Anthony Jeselnik, among others.

Peace.

Traveling...

I had the extreme good fortune of getting to go to Italy, Switzerland, England, and France (two trips, two places each time). Was awesome. Would love to travel the world more.

As a teenager they put together a group trip through school and I used the money left by my grandmother to go. I convinced my mom to go to Italy with me even though it was hard to afford. She's very proud of her Italian heritage and I was so glad she went.

Peace.

My scuba diving was probably about the same as your snorkeling. I didn't go down deep. I remember seeing stingrays, and jet skiing. The water was so warm, you could get up in the morn, and just go swimming. I love traveling also.

ok, I'll give you Colin Firth for him.

Wow, after mentioning What a Wonderful World, I had to go listen to it.

My son is getting married in June, and I requested that for mom and son dance.

Anvil, glad that was for your last wedding, it is a beautiful song.

I've been regressing lately and rather hung up on Clay Matthews (Packers) - ignoring the age difference of course! but then again, Richard Sherman (Hawks) is just so fun and always smiling. sorry, it's football season!

This thread rocks!

Mmmmm, let's see, for me...jigsaw puzzles, coloring books, Sam Cooke, really good pasta tossed with garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper, & a little bit of cheese, dogs, unexpected deep conversations with friends, silly stupid conversations with friends, good stories (even - and maybe especially - the ones that scare me or break my heart a bit along the way), Doctor Who, and hanging with my husband who gets me. Oh also sugar cookies and Christmas trees. And writing. And reading! And rehearsing and performing. And script analysis (nerd alert)! Oh and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers...especially live!

I could go on but I think I might just go indulge in a few or maybe several of those things. Thanks for this thread!

MissFixit I know it sounds like a cop out but I really do love each of them in their time. But if I was forced to pick, I'd say I enjoyed Eleven/Matt Smith the most! So sad to see him go, but looking forward to getting to know the new one!

Amy, I hear ya - cats + jigsaw puzzles = unending chaos.

Onawa, it has been a long time since I had the time/space to dedicate myself to writing the way i need to in order to get in that groove, and I sure miss that groove. I hope you can indulge as much as I would like to!

That avatar is my sweet girl who passed away just a few days before I discovered SR. I like to think she led me here.

If we're on to hot guys now, though, I am going to have to claim dibs on Edward Norton, Robert Downey Jr and Benedict Cumberbatch!
