The nicest thing I've ever "overheard"
As you know, my daughter is sober 104 days. She was talking with friends the other day and due to an ear infection didn't realize how "loudly" she was talking. So this is what I heard:
Talking with girls from work who wanted to get together for dinner to celebrate getting through the holiday season in retail. Our daughter said no because the place they selected served alcohol.
"Really, we're gonna meet at the diner instead? That's great I can go."
The girls figured it out the problem and changed restaurants to one that didn't serve alcohol so my daughter could join them!
What a great gesture! She had a great time!!
