Poem about self-pity
Till Reality Comes Along
Wasting my time wallowing in self pity
Long ass days that end up quite ******
This **** from today goes into tomorrow with me
Till reality comes along and just hits me
Poor me, poor me, pour me another drink
That’s what happens if this is how you think
It’s hard to tread water when your plan is to sink
Till reality comes along and brings you back from the brink
One more time and then I’ll just quit
Then full-blown insanity from one little hit
If that’s what you ask for, that’s what you’ll get
Then reality comes along to show you your too smart for this ****
Flirt with misery then that’s what you take home
Wake up next to it knowing your covers now blown
Now once again tied up in this **** that normally you wouldn’t condone
Till reality comes a long in the words of this poem
